I bought a couple of Ron’s EZ U-Rigs cause I liked the idea of simply unfolding the arms and snapping into place to secure them. The Hyper u-rigs are quite a bit more tedious to open up and get the arms into the right slot. And more often than not lately, one or more of the arms falls off which is a PITA. The EZ U-Rig is EZ peazy to open up and secure the arms which is really nice when it’s dark and/or cold plus the baits don’t get as tangled up. I also like that the center connector is a snap rather than hole drilled in a bolt. As far as trolling them, they worked great and caught several Stripers. I like these and will over time, replace my older Hyper u-rigs with EZ U-Rigs!
I recently used the 3 arm folding EZ-Urig with great success. I trolled it about 100 ft behind the boat which with the weight of the rig going 2.8 mph I went about 25 ft deep. Stripers nailed it. It's like your on bait ball. Stripers can't resist it. I highly recommend any of the EZ-Urigs . The cool thing is they fold up for easy storage.. Good luck and tight lines..🐟🐟🎣🎣
